Why We Copyright Our Portraits
In 1976 the federal government passed a law making it illegal to copy and scan materials protected by copyright, including professional photography. Your portraits are made by some of the finest craftsmen in the industry. Our studio invests heavily in training, education and equipment to provide you with the highest quality photography to be found anywhere - quality that cannot be duplicated or copied without loss of sharpness, color, clarity and permanence. Photographers (and all artists) make their living; pay their staff & all their bills by selling copies of their work. US Copyright Law prohibits any copying scanning or downloading of a professionally created portrait for your personal use without written permission of the photographer. Please respect the law and our livelihood. Thank you!
Pricing & Sales Taxes
We honor all prices until one month from the session date. All prices are subject to change without notice. Please apply Massachusetts Sales Taxes to all orders and session fee.
Session Fee & Rescheduling
Session Fee is not refundable and covers the Photographer talent and post production. It may be applied to a future session in case you need to reschedule your session. A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to rescheduling. Session fee does not include any prints or products.
Ordering and viewing
Within 10 days we will have your ordering and viewing appointment. We do not provide printed proofs and also proofs will not be available online.
Payment
We require half down to start production on your order. The balance is due when your order is picked up. For your convenience, we accept MasterCard, Visa, Cash, and Money Orders, but prefer Checks(made out to The Imagery Studio). Monthly payment plans are available upon request.
Bonuses
Bonuses are rewards to big orders, to qualify for bonuses the total amount must be in one order; family orders cannot be combined. Sitting fee and sales tax do not qualify for bonuses. Facebook images are low resolution ordered images and will include the studio's logo on it. For use on web sites like Facebook, Myspace or IPods'. Printing or altering is not permitted.
Delivery & Shipping
Your portraits will be ready in 4 weeks. (Wall portraits & custom products may require an additional 2 weeks.) You will receive a notice by telephone or email when your portraits are ready to be picked up. No part of an order can be picked up without full payment. If you would like to have your finished order sent to you, please add $15 for shipping & handling for small prints $35 if this includes a print 16x20 or larger.
Your finished order is thoroughly checked before it is delivered. However, if something is not as you expected, it is very important that you let us know upon pick-up and we will make it right for you.
Your Finished Portrait Guarantee
When you place your order, every effort will be made to deliver your images exactly as promised. If for any reason your finished portraits are not as you expected, let us know within three business days and we will fix the problem to your satisfaction at no additional cost. If you do not let us know within three working days, a $30 remake charge will be applied. After 30 days it is assumed that the portraits meet your expectations, and any remakes after this time will be billed at normal prices. The only exception to this is for any defects in manufacturing. Items must be returned to the studio for remakes.
Returns
Due to the custom nature of this business, returns is not allowed. If you are not satisfied with your finish portrait, we will remake them for you. Please review our Finished Portrait Guarantee Policy.
